House rules.

InternetTiles is a public, permanent map of the web. To keep it useful for everyone, here's what isn't allowed.

  • No blank or nearly blank tiles
  • No pornography or explicit sexual content
  • No QR code spam
  • No excessive duplicate tiles (some are fine, be creative)
  • No deceptive "fake UI" images pretending to be system buttons
  • No auto-download links
  • No gore or graphic violence
  • No illegal content or scams
  • No impersonation or pretending to be another person or company
  • No malicious links, malware, or phishing
  • No URL shorteners (bit.ly, tinyurl, etc.) — use the full destination URL
  • No excessive flashing or strobe imagery
  • Don't upload anything you don't have the rights to use

Tiles that violate these rules can be removed without notice. Removed tiles are not guaranteed refunds. Please read carefully before you claim. If you're not sure whether your art is OK, ask first.

We try to be reasonable. Most claims pass without issue. These rules exist to keep the map a place people enjoy returning to.
